Sapporo Ramen SORA 札幌拉面馆

Today, my daughters wanted to visit this cat cafe at the Baarsjes - Kattencafe Kopjes. To our surprise, you need to make a reservation. Who would even think of making a reservation for a cup of coffee? But this place is obviously very popular. It was fully booked.

Well, there was a second purpose for our visit: we want to try the noodles at a Japanese place just around the corner. It took us only two minutes to walk to Sapporo Ramen SORA.

This is quite a small noodle place. All together 6 tables. The largest tables can host four, and the rest are for two. The interiors are pretty simple. There must be an employee who loves to draw. We saw some original anime drawings hanging on the wall.

There are many choices for noodles: chicken, chashu(pork) and vegetarian. Three kinds of soups are available: Miso, Shoyu and Shio. They also have dumplings and tempura.

I ordered a spicy noodle (Cha Shu with Miso), but it was not that spicy. I found out later that there is a 'super spicy noodle' choice. Perhpas for next time. The noodle tastes very yummy. This would be my second favourite place in Amsterdam (No. 1 would be the Raman Kingdom). My daughters ordered a Cha Shu Shoyu. I heard that it was good too.
